iVendNext AI Copilot is a conversational assistant embedded inside iVendNext Desk, launched from a floating chat button on every page that stays available as users move between records. The panel opens in place, already aware of the screen the user clicked from, and answers questions, drafts documents and runs reports without forcing a switch to another tool. Customers bring their own AI subscription, so the provider relationship sits with the customer while iVendNext supplies the assistant, data snapshots, governance and audit trail.
Retailers work through four anchor features. AI Chat is the default tab, listing every previous conversation tagged by area so threads are easy to find, with a pre-packaged starter chats panel on the right that beats cold-start hesitation in one click. Direct Messages let any iVendNext colleague be messaged in the same panel, and mentioning @AI inside a thread brings the assistant in so the question and answer stay together. The Knowledge Bank delivers context-aware help based on the record type the user launched from, with links to documentation and follow-up suggestions. The Prompts Library ships pre-built prompts across every module so teams learn by example instead of guessing what to ask.
A five-layer security model wraps every action, role permissions are enforced on every reply and draft, and a full audit trail records every step, so retailers move faster on everyday work without giving up control.
