Predictive forecasting for stock, sales and cash flow inside iVendNext
iVendNext Foresight is a predictive forecasting layer built directly on live iVendNext data, with three engines running side by side: inventory, sales, and financial. The engines draw on six predictive models — Moving Average, Linear Regression, ARIMA, Prophet, Random Forest, and Ensemble — and the engine selects one per forecast. There is no external system, no exported spreadsheet, and no third-party subscription. Every automated action is drafted as a record for your team to review, never auto-submitted.
For retailers, the inventory engine predicts item consumption per warehouse and drafts a Purchase Order when a reorder alert is raised, with a seven-day duplicate guard preventing repeat drafts. The sales engine predicts what each customer will buy next, scores churn risk as Low, Medium, High, or Unknown, and flags trends as Increasing, Decreasing, Stable, or Volatile. The financial engine projects cash flow, revenue, and expenses across configured categories, with alerts raised when liquidity drops or variance exceeds 10%.
Forecast accuracy typically reaches 75 to 85% after about 90 days of usage, once each model has learned your patterns. Every prediction is compared against realised actuals, graded on a five-tier scale, and overconfident models are flagged for recalibration. Because drafts are always reviewed by humans before submission, every action remains audit-ready. The result is lower stock-out risk, less over-buying, and fewer cash-flow surprises.
