Once configured, M-Pesa becomes a standard payment tender alongside cash and card, with every API call logged and every transaction tracked from initiation through Safaricom confirmation.

At the till, cashiers accept M-Pesa by triggering an STK Push from the POS payment dialog, sending the customer an instant phone prompt that removes cash handling from checkout. In iVendNext Desk, finance teams collect accounts receivable the same way — initiating STK Push directly from Sales Invoices and Payment Requests. Incoming payments arriving through Safaricom webhooks are auto-created as C2B Payment Register records, automatically matched to outstanding invoices, and posted as Payment Entries against the customer without manual intervention.
