iVendNext Kenya Localization — eTIMS Compliance is the App that connects iVendNext directly to the Kenya Revenue Authority's Electronic Tax Invoice Management System through KRA-approved Slade360 middleware. Every VAT-registered retailer in Kenya is required to transmit transactional data to KRA in real time, and this module embeds that obligation into the day-to-day running of iVendNext POS and iVendNext Desk, so compliance is handled as transactions occur rather than reconstructed after the fact.
Retailers configure a single per-company settings record holding the KRA TIN, Branch ID, Slade360 credentials, sandbox or production environment, and independent auto-submission toggles for sales, purchases, and stock. POS invoices are queued to KRA on save, with QR codes and ETR numbers stamped on receipts automatically, and returns are routed as credit notes against the original submission. Items, customers, suppliers, and payment modes are synchronised to the Slade360 registry, mandatory eTIMS fields are validated at the point of entry, and bulk Submit and Verify and Resend actions in iVendNext Desk recover any missed submissions.
The outcome is continuous KRA compliance without manual portal uploads or duplicate data entry. Submitted invoices are protected from cancellation, registered items cannot be deleted, and every transaction carries a Slade360 UUID and ETR number that makes audit response a lookup rather than an investigation. Background processing keeps the cashier moving while finance teams gain real-time reporting visibility across every branch.
